Lunaya Travel wasn't born out of a business plan.
She was born out of frustration. The frustration of seeing travellers arrive in Thailand with lists of places to tick off, itineraries copied from blogs written in an office 10,000 kilometres away, and leave having missed the essential.
We have been living in Thailand for over 7 years. This isn't a marketing hook. It's simply what changes everything about what we can offer you.
A requirement from elsewhere
Before Thailand, there was Monaco. And the French Riviera. Years spent in high-end hospitality, in environments where every detail matters, where quality is not a promise but a daily obligation.
It is that requirement that we have brought here.
When we select accommodation, we have slept there ourselves. When we recommend an excursion, we have experienced it ourselves. When we choose a partner, we trust them personally. Not because they have good ratings on a platform, but because we know what they do and how they do it.

Alongside our stays, in partnership with retreats we offer Beyond the Steps A rare therapeutic experience: elephant therapy. Deep work on reconnecting with oneself, in the presence of elephants, guided by a specialised therapist who has been based here for several years.

Our catalogue is shorter than that of a large platform. Deliberately.
We refuse to offer elephant camps where the animals work. We remove beaches from our selection when they lose what made them exceptional. We don't recommend a restaurant simply because it's popular. We recommend it because we eat there.

Who is behind Lunaya Travel? Lunaya Travel was founded by a couple who have been living in Thailand for over 7 years. One comes from the world of high-end hospitality on the French Riviera and in Monaco, a background that instilled a commitment to excellence shaping how we select each partner and experience. The other is a specialist therapist and founder of the "Au Delà du Massage" retreats, who brings a rare transformative dimension to some of our stays.
Is Lunaya Travel a classic travel agency? No. We are not an agency that adapts existing packages. We build each itinerary from your brief, selecting only experiences and accommodations that we know personally. Our added value is 7 years of local knowledge that you won't find on any booking platform or in any travel guide.
